DANGERS OF TEENAGE/IMMATURE RELATIONSHIP

A 16 year old SS3 student committed suicide because she broke up with ''the love of her life'' apparently. For a boy that is really not worth it. I decided to write an article to this concern to at least educate and create awareness in the best possible way I can.

I want to talk about an issue that distracts most teenagers in the world if not all; dating.Yes I know. I haven't dated anyone because I'm young (I'm 16) but I have had crushes. Most of my classmates, cousins, friends or random teenagers on the net get distracted because of their '' feelings'' which often leaves them with much disappointment and sadness.

You're sixteen, being called sexy or babe shouldn't make you blush or flutter at all. You should have some self respect 13 - 19, that's 6 years . What you really do with this 6 years is what guarantees your overall wellbeing when you are older like 50 upwards.You drink alcohol now or smoke( excessively) or involve yourself in a sexual relationship now will actually hurt you in future.You must be thinking, how do I know all of these, I haven't dated before right?

Apparently that 16 year old that committed suicide is actually my close friend and I just wondered why a 16 year old will kill herself because of someone that didn't create her. So I made a research lasting about 19 days, that is over 2 weeks. I asked my mom, my brother, my aunt, and older cousins who were honest. My brother said, in his words ''if there was anything I could do to go back in time to change it would me dating at such a young age. Because it exposed me to things I wasn't supposed to be exposed to at that age. I wasted time because of temporary feelings that will make you heartbroken instead I could have done something productive.'' Hmmm just imagine there's a meme in my phone that I love so much I had to use it as my wallpaper

''It is better to look ahead and prepare than to look back and regret.

Research shows that only 2% of teenagers that date actually get married and live (you know it) ''happily ever after'' .

Smh, so what really happens to the 98% well some commit suicide, go into depression, join cult in order to get revenge, have eating disorder, undergo surgeries at such a young age for a boy that can't create a human being, go into drugs, become drug addict and so on. Yes, everything has an advantage and a disadvantage but one way to know if something is good is to weigh its advantage and its disadvantage and hmmm would u rather endure this 6 years than to really suffer this. For a pleasure of  1 week to 2 years as the case maybe.

ADVICE TO MY FELLOW TEENAGERS

If you have been involved in this, it's okay everyone makes mistakes but do not let it happen again. Sis or bruh it's just a temporary feeling. According to research when we reach 20 the chances of having a  crush reduces and so with our hormones.That is when you find love, don't misinterpret me you can still get heart broken if you meet the wrong person but you are more matured and you can handle things like that well so you won't COMMIT SUICIDE. If it is meant to happen it will. Fate will find a way to bring you two together at the right time, or you will marry someone who is 150% better. If you are hurt and you clicked on this article I want to let you know that you will be okay. You are feeling this way because you think it will last forever but it will go in less than 3 months. Do not hate boys but be careful. Everyone in this world has someone he/she is meant to be with so whether you are slim, fat, tall, dark, fair there is someone that loves you the way you are and the person will meet you at the right time.

REMINDER

It is not bad to crush on a boy or girl, it is what you do with the feeling that will tell. Make your parents proud of you. Remember there is time for everything.
